Bright Nights at Forest Park, New Year’s Eve
Ring in 2019 with a visit to Bright Nights at Forest Park. On December 31st, lights will be lit from 5pm to 11pm. Children receive a complimentary ticket for one of the amusement rides in Santa’s Magical Forest and a festive hat or noisemaker in the Gift Shop.
Westfield, First Night
First Night is a family-friendly event December 31st, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Amelia Park.
Festivities begin with a parade at 4 p.m. followed by numerous events at the Amelia Park Ice Arena, Amelia’s Garden, Amelia Park Children’s Museum and Westfield Boys and Girls Club, with fireworks at 7 p.m.
Holyoke’s Annual First Night Jr. New Year’s Eve Celebration
Take part in the 21st Annual First Night Junior 2019 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The event is presented by the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round and Children’s Museum. Kids will love the unlimited rides on the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round, face painting, children’s characters, ice sculpting, live music, even a New York style ball drop by Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse with music from the Holyoke High School Marching Band.
Northampton Brewery, New Year’s
Head to the Northampton Brewery for a night out on the town.
The outdoor deck will be open for drinks and fireworks viewing from 5-8 p.m., followed by a New Year’s Eve party starting at 9 p.m. featuring jazz from the Scott Sasnecki Trio.
New Year’s Eve at MGM Springfield
