West Springfield, 250th Anniversary Block Party

To mark our year-long birthday celebration, we’re throwing a grand bash.

We wanted to extend the invitation of our 250th Anniversary Block Party to you and your family/organization. The Town of West Springfield will be hosting our 250th Anniversary Block Party on the Town Common located on Park Street. This two day event will take place on June 22nd & 23rd from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This event will consist of food vendors, beverages, live entertainment, and a multitude of kids’ activities.

We hope to see everyone there as this will be an exciting moment in history for the Town and it will be a fun weekend out at the end of a school year to kickoff summer!

Live Music by:
Saturday: The Story Tellers 12-3 pm & Drop of A Hat 4-7
Sunday: General Gist 12-3 pm & Chalk Dust 4-7 pm
Kids Programs Saturday:
12-3 pm Wildlife on Wheels presented by the West Springfield Public Library and funded by the Kathleen and Walter Miller Trust
12-7 pm Happy Face Painter
12-7 pm Library Summer Reading Table
Kids Programs Sunday:
12-3 pm, Vinny Lovegroves Bubble show presented by the West Springfield Public Library and funded by the Kathleen and Walter Miller Trust
12-4 pm, Stand Out Truck with PBS programming and free books (while supplies last) funded through the Friends of the West Springfield Public Library.
12-7 pm Happy Face Painter
12-7 pm Library Summer Reading Table
12-4 pm Dazzleday Balloon Twisting

 

413 CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

Join the Town West Springfield, along with 413 Cornhole, in celebrating the Town’s 250th Anniversary by participating in a Cornhole Switcholio Tournament on Sunday, June 23, 2024 on the Park Street Town Common (128 Park Street, West Springfield)! Bags fly at 1:00pm SHARP! Cash prizes for winners! There will be Competitive & Backyard Leagues. Also during this event, there will be a Block Party with Food Vendors, Live Music and Beverages! Pre-registration to participate in this tournament is strongly encouraged. The cost is $30.00 per person. Once registered, please download the Scoreholio App to use during the tournament.
