Astronaut Adventures: A Virtual Conversation with Apollo 13 Astronaut Fred Haise
Don’t miss your chance to hear from one of of America’s greatest living astronauts and relive one of the most daring chapters in space history.

The New England Air Museum is thrilled to announce an extraordinary event that will transport audiences from the museum floor to the very edge of space. On Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM, join us for Astronaut Adventures: A Virtual Conversation with Apollo 13 Astronaut Fred Haise.
Presented in collaboration with STEAM4SPACE, the New England Air Museum will host a once-in-a-lifetime virtual conversation featuring legendary astronaut Fred Haise, whose heroism helped turn Apollo 13 into NASA’s most famous “successful failure.” Haise will sit down with STEAM4SPACE founder Logan Jaeren to share remarkable stories from his groundbreaking career, including:
- The harrowing Apollo 13 mission, NASA’s “successful failure”
- Commanding the Space Shuttle Enterprise on its first flight
- His pioneering career as a NASA research pilot
Guests will hear first-hand what it was like to test the boundaries of flight and space exploration, and how ingenuity and teamwork saved Apollo 13 against all odds.
This isn’t just a lecture; it’s an interactive experience. Engage in live Q&A with Haise and Jaeren. Join us in person at the museum, where Haise will appear on our giant screens, or participate virtually from home for an equally inspiring event.
