Come to The Local Art Gallery and dive into the vibrant world of collage with artist Heather Geoffrey’s introductory workshop, “Collage Kickoff: Tools, Materials, and Basic Techniques.” This session is the first in a series of four Sunday afternoon workshops designed to take you from beginner to collage master. In Collage Kickoff, you will begin with an engaging overview of the history and evolution of collage, then get acquainted with the essential tools and materials needed for creating collages. Put your new knowledge into practice with a hands-on exercise where you’ll create your own simple collage.
