Lee, Founder’s Weekend

September 19 - September 21
Celebrating Lee’s 248th birthday. Food Tasting, Street Fair, Parade, Fireworks Show.

Three days of fun for the entire family! Join us for a festive weekend celebrating the rich history and vibrant spirit of Lee! Founders Weekend brings together locals and visitors alike for food, fun, music, and community pride in the heart of the Berkshires.

The Lee Police Department would like to remind everyone planning to attend Taste of Lee on Friday evening, that Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic by 4:00 pm from the Town Park to Franklin Street. Any vehicles parked along this stretch of Main Street after 3:30 on Friday will need to remain there until after Taste of Lee ends for the safety of the pedestrians and vendors who will line Main Street for this popular event.

On Saturday morning, motorists are asked to keep in mind that Main Street to Canal Street will again be closed for the Hometown Parade that begins at 10:00 AM. By the start of the 10:00 am parade, police will close the route from Fuller to Summer and Laurel until the completion of the parade.

Sunday, Annual Rubber Duck Race on the Housatonic River. Wrap up the weekend with this quirky and beloved Lee tradition—cheer on your duck to victory
