Lanesborough, Hikes at Mount Greylock

Discover Greylock Hike, Friday, 22nd, and 29th, 11:00am – 2:00pm. Summer is a great time for an off-the-beaten path experience in the natural world. Join a Park Interpreter for a fabulous fun time exploring the diversity of flora, fauna and landmark features at Mount Greylock. Look for signs of wildlife and seasonal flora along easy-moderate trails. Hikes may include talks on outdoor stewardship, bear awareness, cultural history and even a family friendly scavenger hunt. Be prepared for muddy trail conditions with rocks and roots. Open to ages 8 and older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.  Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring drinking water, a snack, sunscreen, bug spray and binoculars. Trekking poles are recommended. Inclement weather cancels.
