Please join us this winter to prepare and eat savory and sweet dishes under the guidance of our experienced open-hearth cooks. The hearth cooks will teach you a variety of techniques, providing a hands-on experience you will never forget in the kitchen of the 1786 Hall Tavern. You will participate in the process and assist the hearth cooks in preparing the dishes for the workshop.
The registration for each class is $75 per person ($70 for members). Workshops are designed for adult participants (age 16 and up). Registration will be refunded if cancellation is made by 12 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the workshop. Register early as workshops fill up quickly! February 3, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.For the beginner, try a variety of hearth cooking techniques and equipment.
February 10, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.Come and prepare hearty tavern fare and enjoy supper by the fire.
February 17, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.Cozy up to the fire as you sip historical hot chocolate and help prepare some sweet treats.
February 24 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.We will bake bread and pies in the beehive oven.
