Bubble and Squeak
Celebrate the Halloween season with some fun activities at the Hall Tavern. Play old fashioned games like Tabletop Nine Pins, Jacob’s Ladder, or Nine Men’s Morris in the tap room. Make and take home a pumpkin-themed craft inspired by a Jack O Lantern, and enjoy visiting with our hearth cook in the kitchen and help mix and bake an old recipe for Sugar Cakes and see an open hearth cooking demonstration featuring the wiggly squiggly dish known as “Bubble and Squeak,” a recipe that dates back to the 1700s.
