Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, Día de Muertos
Remembrance Program with New England Donor Services / Done Vida New England
In the spirit of the Día de Muertos celebration, a time to honor, remember and celebrate the lives of our loved ones who have passed, New England Donor Services / Done Vida New England is proud to participate in the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History’s weeklong celebration from November 1st to November 8th, located at One Elizabeth Street, Hartford, CT 06105.
We invite you to visit our beautifully crafted donation altar (ofrenda), created to honor the memory and legacy of our donor heroes, who gave the gift of LIFE to others, through organ and tissue donation.
Join us for a heartfelt gathering in tribute to our donor heroes. Through donor families’ stories, poetry, and traditional live music, we will remember and celebrate the lives they lived and the legacy they leave behind.
In true Día de Muertos tradition, we’ll share pan de muerto, hot chocolate, and light refreshments as we come together in community to remember, reflect, and give thanks.
This is a time for healing, connection, and honoring the enduring power of love and generosity, in life and death. We hope you and your family will join us in this meaningful celebration of life.
Tickets are free, but registration is required! Get your ticket here:
