The Venue 52 Sumner is a new venue for the arts, including live music and other entertainment at the old church at 52 Sumner Avenue, Springfield, MA. Once the home of Faith United Church, the building was built in 1894 and designed by renowned architect William Van Alen, famous for his design of the Chrysler Building in NYC. 52 Sumner has been transformed into a captivating arts, entertainment, and event venue set in Springfield's stately Forest Park neighborhood. The hall accommodates over four hundred people and has undergone hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of improvements including a brand-new in-house sound and lighting system.
