1. Brimfield Outdoor Antique Show -

The Brimfield Outdoor Antique Show is a Western Mass outdoor favorite. It happens three times a year – today through Sunday is the last chance to find yourself treasures in 2019. Route 20 is alive with vendors and treasure hunters! Visit their website to see where your favorite vendors are located and as a product location guide.

2. Three County Fair Grounds -

This Saturday, September 7th, Three County Fair Grounds in Northampton will host one of its last outdoor concerts of the summer season – MELHA SHRINERS MUSIC FEZTIVAL, a country music extravaganza. The Melha Shriners organization raises money to provide quality healthcare for children. The event costs $35 at the door and $5 for parking on site. A portion of these proceeds will be donated toward the Melha Shriners organization to further philanthropy efforts. The first performance starts at 11 am with country music band King Country, 1 pm Southern Rain, 3 pm Cotton Wood, and the last show is at 5 pm featuring the Roots & Boots 90’s Electric Throwdown with Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and Sammy Kershaw. 3. The Big E -

September 13th is opening day at the Big E and is also “Be A Kid For the Day and Military Appreciation Day” sponsored by VA New England Healthcare. All ages $10 and military are free (ID required). Click here for the full calendar of sponsored days and gate discounts.

4. Jam Fest at MGM Springfield –

MGM Springfield and the Springfield Business Improvement District (SPID) will host Jam Fest 2019 on Saturday September 7th from 12 pm to 10 pm on The Plaza at MGM. Enjoy free admission, non-stop music, raffles, and vendors. Proceeds from vendor and raffle sales will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness Inc. (NAMI-Western Mass) and the non-profit organization Nicebox Gives. Use the hashtag #RockTheStigma to raise awareness for mental illness and to show us your favorite parts of the event!

5. Mattoon Street Arts Festival –

The Mattoon Street Arts Festival is celebrating its 47th year as the longest-running arts festival in the Pioneer Valley. The festival consists of 100 exhibitors, food, vendors and “strolling” musicians. Free parking is available at the TD Bank lot on Dwight St and Harrison. Find gifts for the holidays, enjoy street food, and look for life inspiration!
