Former NASA Astronaut Susan Kilrain
Meet former NASA Astronaut Susan Kilrain at this year’s SPACE EXPO! Susan Kilrain (Commander, USN, Ret.) is a veteran of two space flights and one of only three women to ever pilot the Space Shuttle. A graduate of the Naval Test Pilot School, she has over 3,000 flight hours in more than 30 different aircraft including the F-14 Tomcat. She holds a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. She retired from NASA in 2002 and the U.S. Navy in 2005.
