Join Belchertown artist, Gretchen Holesovsky, at the Mill District Local Art Gallery this Spring for this series of five classes that meets on consecutive Tuesdays from 10am-12pm. In these sessions, participants receive in-depth lecture style instruction on color theory, color mixing, and application techniques and the opportunity to practice the demonstrated techniques. Be ready – this series is jammed packed with information and has homework. Great for beginning watercolor artists who wish to immediately start off their new hobby with solid instruction as well as intermediate artists who wants to deepen their understanding.

Dates: Tuesdays 10am – 12pm on May 28; June 4, 11, 18, and 25. Make up class July 9.

Classes 1 & 2: Lecture and practice of color theory, color mixing, watercolor techniques, and application techniques.
Classes 3, 4, & 5: Paint a small landscape while practicing techniques for applying and manipulating paint.

Geared toward mature students. Ages 14+ with accompaniment.
