This special SPOOKY session will feature models in their favorite Halloween costumes! If you want to dress up as well to attend, we would love that! Event starts at 6:30pm so be sure to get here early and grab a seat!
What could be more fun than dressing up in fun costumes and practicing our sketching!
This is a fully clothed figure drawing activity where random poses and drawing challenges will be drawn and participants can sketch what is before them.
This is a free 18+ event.
Bring your own Art Supplies or basic paper and pencils will be provided.

We have time for 6 models with 15 minutes of activities for each.
The Mill District Local Art Gallery is thrilled to host the Amherst Plein Air Society in the Front Window Gallery. 15% of exhibit sales are donated to Kestrel Land Trust. Exhibit runs from Saturday, September 2 through Sunday, November 12.
This exhibit showcases over 30 works of art by 11 artists who participated in the society’s seasonal Plein Air Paint Outs at Kestrel’s relatively new location of their main office in South Amherst, warmly referred to as their “Home on the Range”. Enjoy walking the Sweet Alice Conservation Area Pond Loop Trail that meanders through this property and then come to the Local Art Gallery to explore a variety of artistic interpretations that capture the beauty of this land through the seasons.
Art collectors and nature enthusiasts will appreciate that the exhibiting art is available for purchase directly from the artist who will donate 15% of the proceeds to Kestrel Land Trust.
