Explore the joy of the ancient Japanese art of Origami with an experienced teacher. Origami takes many forms including decorative, geometric, utilitarian, abstract and representational. This class will cover the basics of origami which will be demonstrated through folding. Students will also learn about the types of origami, how to read diagrams, paper selection, and a list of resources for further exploration. We will start with basic folds and end by folding the iconic origami crane. Materials included.
