Cromwell Day Pop-up Exhibition curated by the Smith College Black Student Alliance
Students from the Black Student Alliance selected artworks from SCMA’s collection in honor of Cromwell Day, an annual tradition that provides dedicated time and space for reflection and education about diversity, racism and inclusion. Students responded to this year’s Cromwell Day theme: “Finding Joy on Our Road to Racial Justice,” selecting nineteen works by artists including Lorraine O’Grady, Zanele Muholi, Jacob Lawrence, Romare Bearden, Delita Martin, and more.
This Pop-Up Exhibition is free to visit and open to the public.
