Come warm your soul during winter with a Fireside Lunch. Enjoy a comforting dining experience with carving stations set up in the Great Room at Bullard Tavern located in the heart of the Village on the Center Common. There will be live music, a fire in the hearth, and traditional hearty fare.
Please note reservations are not required; this is a first-come, first-served offering, and seating is limited.
Fireside Lunch is a new, one-day special food option for visitors on February 17th. A variety of other food options are available at Ox & Yoke Cafe and Miner Grant. There will be no food service downstairs in Bullard Tavern Cafeteria.
Shop Dozens of Craft Vendors and Support an 8th-grade Field Trip to Washington, DC!
Staff and students from Old Sturbridge Academy are planning for an 8th-grade civics-focused field study in Washington, D.C. this spring! To make this trip accessible to all students, staff, students, and parents/guardians are working to raise funds to help support the costs of the trip. This Saturday, February 17th, they are hosting a craft fair from 10:00–3:00 p.m. with dozens of local vendors! There is no admission fee to enter the craft fair.

Throughout the morning on Saturday, watch as a Village luthier works to build a reproduction 1835 René Lacote guitar. Then, hear the sounds of one of the most unusual 19th-century instruments, the rocking melodeon at 1:30 p.m. or a sampler of 19th-century music at 2:30 p.m. Then, on Sunday, enjoy the music accompaniment at the Washington Birthday Ball at 1:00 p.m.
