Mount Greylock, Summit Parkitecture Tour

Join a park interpreter for a revealing walking tour of the planned “Parkitecture” of Mount Greylock’s historic summit. Bascom Lodge and the Thunderbolt Ski Shelter are amazing examples of a rustic public landscape crafted by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. Located at the highest point in Massachusetts, these landmark structures demonstrate successful historic preservation.
Program duration 30 minutes.
Meet at Bascom Lodge. (Parking fee may apply)
This program is FREE and best for ages 8 and older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
