Last weeks – we are open every night now until New Year’s – Closed on Christmas day.
It’s a 30-40 minute stroll because with us you can stop and take pictures.
Some things to consider before arriving:
The walk is entirely “outdoors.” The path will take you along grass, woodchips, packed dirt, gravel, and concrete. There may be some standing puddles or other areas of soft dirt/mud to be aware of. You will not need muck boots or anything like that, but plan on footwear that you would wear outdoors off of pavement.
This is a lightshow with A LOT of lights. If you have sensitivity issues to light, it is something to be aware of. There are absolutely not strobe lights, but there will be some flashing from step controllers to mimic motion. Most of the lights were are using are LED’s and there are a lot of them, so some of the areas will end up being bright.
For more up to date information or to get a question answered, head over to our Facebook page where it is monitored more regularly, and updated more often. Some updates to go over now:
First, the price will be the same as last year, $15/per person. Two and under can still enter without having to pay. We teamed up with TicketSpice this year so there will be a small processing fee added to each ticket. We thought the hands-free system with check-in that we had last year was the bees knees, but it didn’t go quite as planned so we are trying out a new system that should be more efficient for the check in process. It should go a lot quicker; you WILL need your phones to scan the barcodes, but your entire party can be pulled up on one barcode.
Second, we are shifting to an online ONLY reservation system. Tickets will not be sold on site, and you will need to have your reservation prior to showing up. We are doing this to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone and minimize the overcrowding on the trail. Reservations will be available in 15-minute increments the same as last year. You must show up within your time block otherwise the tickets will not scan/entry will be denied.
Third, the parking lot. We apologize to those who got to experience the mud bog that ended up happening last year. The good news for most of you is that we had the parking lot re-done so there should not be the same problem that we had last year with the mud. Bad news for those of you with 4×4’s who enjoyed mudding in the parking lot, but for the rest of you it should be good news.
Fourth, dogs. We love them just as much as you, but they need to stay home for this event please. There are dark areas, bright lights, music, lasers, confined spaces, and a lot of people. We want everyone to have a safe, good, and fun time while walking through event. Last thing we want is someone having an incident with another persons’ fur baby.
