Meet at the Visitor Center at Hall Tavern then walk a loop to the Common and back, finishing in front of the Deerfield Inn. The ghosts of Old Deerfield’s past are waiting to greet you and share their stories, from Deerfield’s earliest days to the early 20th century. Listen to some of Deerfield’s most mysterious stories, including the tale of the Woman in White who haunts the village. This is a great tour for any history enthusiast who likes to have spooky fun!

Historic Ghost Walks are led by tour guides to locations in the center of the village of Old Deerfield, where actors in costume portray individuals from Deerfield’s past. The village characters reveal ghost stories in short vignettes, telling personal stories that connect them to those who have preceded us. Please dress warmly and wear comfortable walking shoes, as the tour takes place entirely outdoors. Visitors will purchase a timed ticket.
