Family Program: Heroes on the Homefront
April 5 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Why was Connecticut nicknamed the Provisions State? Families will explore the many ways Connecticans provided support during times of war. Shop with ration coupons, get thrifty with recycled materials, make WWII-era mess kits, and more!
This program is FREE and great for children of all ages. For more information, please contact Katerina Mazzacane, Youth and Family Programs Manager, at 860-236-5621 x222, or email [email protected].
This program falls on Free First Weekend, which includes free admission to the Museum for all ages and occurs the first Saturday and Sunday of every month. Thanks to Berkshire Bank for their generous support of Free First Weekend.
