Berkshire East, Get The Girls Out

March 4 @ 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm EST

SheJumps is excited to have their 9th Get The Girls Out at Berkshire East on Saturday, March 4th! Join us for a fun night on the slopes!

Get the Girls Out is a national campaign to unite women and girls as they support, challenge, mentor, and inspire each other in the outdoor sports world. These events are held near International Women’s Day annually in March and cultivate communities for women to have fun and connect with friends – new and old. GTGO events create opportunities for women to share & inspire and ensures younger generations have the opportunity to storm mountains and develop the life skills necessary to succeed on the mountains and in life!

SheJumps is excited to bring this event back to Berkshire East. All ages and abilities are welcome (those under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the full event.) Although SheJumps is not providing lessons they will be splitting up in groups based on ability to be able to provide a fun safe event for all!

5:00pm – Welcome meeting in the lodge. Group ski/ride meet up.
7:00pm – Warm up and Raffle
7:30pm- 8:30pm Group ski/ride
Meet up afterwards in the Crazy Horse Bar and Grill for food and beverages (to be provided on your own).

What to expect: Although SheJumps is not providing lessons they will be splitting up into riding groups based on ability to be able to provide a fun safe event for all.

What to wear: The ideal clothing allows for unrestricted movement and comfort while skiing. Dress in layers to allow you to quickly and easily regulate your temperature. Modern, breathable fabrics such as polyester, nylon, or wool blends breathe well and don’t absorb sweat. Avoid cotton as it will keep you cold once it gets wet. Make sure to wear or bring clothing that will protect you from the elements: a cold wind or wet snow can quickly chill an unprepared skier.

SheJumps welcomes all women and girls- transgender and cisgender- as well as non-binary people. All minors (under age 18) must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the full event.
