Amherst College Theater and Dance presents Peerless by Jiehae Park
How far would you go to get into The College of your dreams? The Amherst College Department of Theater and Dance presents Peerless in the Holden Theater, April 4, 5, and 6 at 8:00 p.m. Written by Jiehae Park ’02, this play, loosely based on Macbeth, tells the story of M and L, twin Asian American sisters in a small Midwestern town who are absolutely determined to get the one spot The College offers their high school each year. When someone else gets the spot instead of them, M and L’s determination turns murderous. Directed by Leland Culver ’24 for his senior thesis in directing.
Performances are at 8:00 PM in Holden Theater on the Amherst College campus (behind the admissions office) on April 4, 5, and 6. Tickets are free, but seating is limited, so reservations are highly encouraged.
