This unique installation, The Business of Illustrating the American Dream, delves into Norman Rockwell as more than just an artist, but also the idea of his art as a business. Examine the nature of Rockwell’s client-to-artist negotiations with The Saturday Evening Post and a range of advertising entities. Explore how for his advertising clients, content and messaging was heavily influenced by trends in consumerism, connections of consumerism to democratic ideals and personal advancement, and the science of advertising, coupled with the artist’s own observations of social trends.

This fantastically immersive journey breaks down the art and science of animation. Red Sox Winter Weekend 

Before the Boston Red Sox head down to Fort Myers for 2024 Spring Training, they’re heading to Springfield Friday and Saturday, January 19 & 20, 2024 for Winter Weekend! To mark the unofficial start of baseball season, the squad will first spend a winter weekend at MGM Springfield meeting with fans, signing autographs, and more!
