5 Great Restaurant Treats

1. Fried Brussels Sprouts with Sweet Chili Aioli at Lattitude –

These are NOT the brussels sprouts that ruined your childhood dinners.  Leave it to the creative folks at Lattitude to reinvent the brussel sprout as a delectable appetizer for lunch or dinner Monday through Saturday.  Chef Jeffrey Daigneau puts his expertise into every tasty morsel.

2. The Seafood Pasta Salad at Frigo Foods –

Cavatappi pasta, shrimp, and crab meat tossed with a special blend of herb and spices, celery, and a light mayo dressing.  If you’re feeling really adventurous, try a grinder served on a ½ loaf of Vienna bread!  Come hungry because these portions are insane!

3. The “Bucket of Balls” at The Federal Restaurant -

The famed risotto balls with fresh black truffled butter & snipped chives are just one of the delights to be found on the menu at this Agawam restaurant.  The staff also grows fresh in-season veggies and herbs out in the back to enhance their menu items.

4. Turducken Grilled Cheese at The Mick –

Tur-WHAT-en?  Turkey, duck and chicken with savory corn bread stuffing served on country white bread.  Yes, please!  As an added benefit, The Mick is located within The Delaney House – a classic Western Mass restaurant and banquet house.

5. Baby Back Ribs at Theodores’ Blues, Brews & BBQ –

It’s hard to say what’s more smokin’ in this atmospheric restaurant/club…the top blues acts onstage, or the popular baby back ribs.  Other rib options include St. Louis Ribs or Beef Short Ribs, and they’re served with honey slaw, collard greens, cornbread and baked beans.  Tie on your bib and head to this downtown Springfield landmark.
