Looking for a screaming good time this Halloween? Look no further than Western Mass for family fun with a spooky twist. All you’ll need is a tank of gas, a mask and some hand sanitizer!

Amelia Park’s Haunted Garden: As part of Westfield’s Pumpkinfest, Amelia’s Garden is being transformed into a spooky, haunted but kid-friendly garden! It’s free fun for all ages and runs now through October 31st. Visit on Halloween and catch the Halloween Costume Skate in the arena.

CT Trolley Museum’s Pumpkin Patch: Ride the trolley to the pumpkin patch weekends until Halloween. Kids get a free sugar pumpkin from the patch and can decorate it with materials provided on-site. Advance ticket sales are required.

Sonny’s Place Harvest Happenings: Plan to spend the day and evening because Sonny’s has plenty of spooky things to do including pumpkin min-golf, a trick or treat trail, zombie laser-tag and more. When you need a break, they have a full menu of seasonal food and cocktails.

On Halloween, New England Air Museum has a special Haunted Hangar Trick or Treat program. Ghosts, witches, princesses, and superheroes are invited to visit the museum and participate in a costume contest! Trick or treat goodie bags are available for each guest and a scavenger hunt will be held throughout the museum hangars.

Another great spot for Halloween weekend is Lupa Zoo! Their hosting a kid’s Halloween party on October 31st and November 1st complete with lots of treats. Some might say it’s going to be ‘wild’!

Old Sturbridge Village presents “Phantoms & Fire” Wednesdays through Saturdays until Halloween. You’ll find spooky delights from bats and bonfires to cauldrons and candy, from ghosts and guitars to horror and…maybe even…a headless horseman! Take your entire family, as this Halloween, there is something for every age around every corner.
