$6 – $8Exhibit Opening | Painting His Parent’s Lives | Albert Chasan
Join us in person for an exhibit opening of Albert Chasan’s work on April 27 at 2 p.m.
With an uncanny eye for a world he never knew, Albert Chasan’s works imagine the world of his parents—depicting the stories he heard his parents tell about their childhood lives in the Russian Empire.
The exhibit opening will include a short conversation with Albert Chasan’s family at 2 p.m.
Albert Chasan z”l (1930-2024) was a successful businessman, an athlete, and a talented artist. Art was his passion and after retiring, he immersed himself in painting family history, abstracts, and portraits. At Woodland Pond Senior Living Community in New Paltz, NY he revitalized the art community by starting the ArtScope group. His paintings are displayed there and in Village Grande, West Windsor, NJ.
