Wistariahurst Museum, Live Music & Dance

September 18, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EDT

Fresh air, green grass and flowering trees are the back drop for a magical performance of music and dance in the beautiful gardens of this historic Holyoke home. Choreographer Michelle Marroquin presents a program of original dances and familiar favorites, including Garden of Sprites, performed by young ballerinas of the Academy of Ballet Arts.  In addition, you’ll witness butoh performer Zazie Tobey’s contemporary choreography, and Michelle & Zazie collaborating with Artist Maggie Nowinski’s enigmatic sculptural drawings called wHoles. Musical interludes feature the sweet vibrations of Tony Silva’s Spanish guitar.
Come feel your feet on the grass, witness art happening in a gorgeous setting, and be delighted by young dancers twirling, leaping and rolling just a few feet away.
