The Zoo in Forest Park, Open for the Season

The Zoo’s opening day and Oz’s birthday party has been moved to Saturday, April 1 due to the wintery forecast predicted for this Saturday.
Join us at The Zoo on Saturday for our 2023 season kick-off! We will be celebrating Oz’s 19th birthday.
The Zoo will open for the 2023 season on Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a birthday party for our spotted leopard, Oz, on both Saturday and Sunday. The celebrations will include an enrichment activity at 10:30, a “piñata” filled with his favorite snacks at 12:30 and, of course, a cake made of meat at 2:30.

The Zoo will begin its 2023 operating schedule on 3/25. We will be open weekends only until the end of May but will be open all week during both Conn. and Mass. April vacation weeks (4/10-14 and 4/17-21). We can’t wait to see you at The Zoo!
Tickets can be purchased at The Zoo gate upon arrival. Reminder that the City of Springfield charges $3/in-state plate and $5/out-of-state plate, cash only, to park. Parking is not included in the price of admission to The Zoo.
