The Zoo in Forest Park, Open for the Season

The Zoo’s opening day and Oz’s birthday party has been moved to Saturday, April 1 due to the wintery forecast predicted for this Saturday.
Join us at The Zoo on Saturday, (weather depending) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for our 2023 season kick-off!
We will be celebrating Oz’s 19th birthday with presents fit for a leopard, various forms of enrichment, and of course a cake made of meat (yum!).
*If the weather doesn’t cooperate on the 25th, we will postpone opening/Oz’s birthday party to April 1. Updates will be made on our Facebook page.*
Reminder that members receive unlimited visits throughout the season! Purchase your 2023 membership before the start of the season at www.forestparkzoo.org/membership.
The Zoo will begin its 2023 operating schedule on 3/25. We will be open weekends only until the end of May but will be open all week during both Conn. and Mass. April vacation weeks (4/10-14 and 4/17-21). We can’t wait to see you at The Zoo!
Tickets can be purchased at The Zoo gate upon arrival. Reminder that the City of Springfield charges $3/in-state plate and $5/out-of-state plate, cash only, to park. Parking is not included in the price of admission to The Zoo.
