Aircraft of the Week: B-29 “Superfortress” Saturday September 3rd

Join us for an in-person follow-up to aircraft of the week. Meet members of our B-29 restoration crew and learn more about this iconic aircraft!

The B-29 Super-fortress was the technological marvel of its time– larger, faster, and with more range than any other bomber. It also featured the first-ever pressurized bomber cabin, and an early computer to control the remote guns.

Simulator Day (Grand Opening) Saturday September 3rd

Join us for the grand opening of not one, but TWO new flight simulators! These are stationary, video game-style flight simulators and are available for visitors 10+. Visitors can choose between an immersive, very realistic flight in an F-18 or NX Cub. Tickets are available in 20-minute increments from 10:00-2:00 PM and cost $10 per person. Tickets cannot be reserved in advance and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Storage HangarFinal Day Sunday 09/04 from 10:00-2:00 PM

See the F-14 “Tomcat”, F-4D “Phantom II”, F-86 “Sabre”, and more! The storage hangar houses more than 20 iconic aircraft. This experience is included with standard admission. The outdoor storage hangar is only available in the summer months.

Redbird Full Motion Simulator Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays 10:00-2:00 PM

The Redbird is an FAA-approved simulator featuring 200-degree panoramic visuals and motion on all three axes- 40 degrees roll, 50 degrees pitch, and 60 degrees yaw. Accelerate down the runway with a NEAM staff member in your very own Cessna 172. Get ready to take the controls and experience flight!

Available for guests 12+ Sessions are $25 for 30 minutes. Tickets are first come first serve and cannot be reserved in advance.
