Summer is the time to play, explore, and create… together! Museum educators lead visitors in a variety of fun activities that expand on our exhibits and permanent collections. Rotating schedule may include animal charades, pipe clean pythons, fairy gardens, dragon eggs, squeegee art, and chalk art.

Giant Bubbles with Mr. Vinny

Big bubbles, bigger laughs — pop into the fun. Free with museum admission.

Using giant bubble wands he designed and constructed by the Bubble Guy himself, will gather kids for an hour long game of watch, chase, and pop the bubbles! Big, giant, beautiful bubbles will fill the air above and all around us while “Mr. Vinny” makes jokes, answers questions, and creates good-hearted and surprising fun.

Toe Jam Puppet Band

The Toe Jam Puppet Band is a children’s entertainment group that combines music, puppetry, and interactive storytelling. They are known for their high-energy, funny, and family-friendly performances, often featuring original songs, silly costumes, and audience participation.
