Springfield Museums, Stars over Springfield

Join members of the Springfield Stars Club for a discussion of current topics in astronomy and, weather permitting, skygazing in the Science Museum’s observatory.
Tonight’s Topic: Richard Sanderson, “The Science Museum’s Expedition to Africa to View the Eclipse of the Century.” This summer marks the 50th anniversary of Warren Fillmore’s 1973 expedition to East Africa.
Purchase entry on the evening of the program at the Museums: $3 adults, $2 children.

The Stars over Springfield program is organized by the Museums in partnership with the Springfield Stars Club. The program takes place on the first Friday of each month, from 7-8:30 pm.
Stars over Springfield is best suited for families with children ages 8 and older, however younger children are also welcome.
