Springfield Museums, Planetarium Show “1989 – Taylor’s Version”

March 23 @ 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm EDT

Calling all Swifties! Every Saturday afternoon from March 23-May 18, the Springfield Museums will present 1989 Under the Stars, a new light and music show in the Seymour Planetarium set to “1989 – Taylor’s Version,” the top-selling album from Taylor Swift.  Planetarium shows are free for Museums members and $5 for visitors ages 8+.

As the dome fills with moving, swirling, kaleidoscopic light and color, sweet melodious sounds enter through our outer ears, hit our ear drums, jiggle the tiniest bones in our inner ears, and the stereocilia send transmissions up to our brains to remind us what year our favorite singer was born: 1989! Lean back in your chair or stand up and dance as the Museums presents highlights of Taylor Swift’s top-selling album, combined with a visual spectacle on the dome in Seymour Planetarium. Look for Easter eggs integrated into the dynamic visuals as we remind you, we only play Taylor’s Version.
