Springfield Museums, Online
March 23 - April 3
The Springfield Museums might be closed, but the staff is working on a number of ways to stay engaged with visitors. The Museums added a new page to their website expressly for engagement even if visitors cannot visit in person: Explore the Springfield Museums.
Activities include offerings from the staff at the Museums’ interactive centers: The Cat’s Corner, The Smithsonian Spark!Lab, and The Art Discovery Center. Videos include science, art, and family activities featured on MassAppeal as well as videos produced by the Museums’ Staff.
During this time of closure, the Springfield Museums want very much to stay connected with our visitors—we miss you and hope you are all keeping safe and well.
With art, history, science and Seuss as resources, we are pleased to offer a number of ways to explore our collections, programs, and activities from wherever you might be.
Below you will find links to activities, collection items, and blog posts
We also want to make sure you know about our wonderfully whimsically interactive Seuss In Springfield website, where you can learn about Ted Geisel—aka Dr. Seuss—and his childhood in Springfield, MA. This site includes lots of interactive games. Please check it out.
Enjoy exploring this expanded content—we will continue to update the information, so please check back often.
We look forward to seeing you soon #AtTheMuseums!
