Celebrate with 19th-Century Flair: Join Us for a Ball on Saturday!

Dancing and attending balls were popular social activities in the 1830s. Join us at the Village this Saturday, May 13th to learn more about balls in 1830s New England through talks, performances, and dances!  Even the OSV Dancers will be here!

Highlights* include:

• Visit the Richardson House in the morning to learn about the dangers people associated with dancing
• Learn about 1830s fashion and fancy hairstyles
• Listen to a selection of historical waltzes at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
• Attend the ball at 1:00 p.m. in the Bullard Tavern
