The Union 28 Community Network for Children Program and the Pioneer Valley Regional CFCE with FirstLight are once again offering Summer Outdoor Playgroup at Northfield Mountain Recreation and Environmental Center at 99 Millers Falls Road in Northfield, MA.
A few weeks full of fun and engaging activities for three Fridays in July. Read and play in the shard of the trees, create art outdoors, explore dough mixtures, take a hike, discover and enjoy nature, and more!
Three Fridays in July, from10-noon
July 14: Fairies in the Woods- create fairy houses, fairy crafts and dough, fairy storywalk and more!
July 21: Big Machines at the Mountain- Touch a vehicle experience, free children’s hardhat while the last, painting the wheels, diggers in the sandbox, storywalk and more!
July 28: Messy Mixtures- Explore messy mixtures, bubbles, sink and float, storywalk and special music concert!
Water and a small snack is provided. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy! Most appropriate for children 8 years of age and younger. No need to sign up! We meet rain or shine! If you have any questions, contact either Gillian, U28 CNC Program [email protected] or Deb, PVRS CFCE Program [email protected].
This program is offered by the Pioneer Valley RSD CFCE and Union #28 Community Network for Children.
