Northfield Mountain, Fat Biking
February 1 - February 13
Northfield Mountain is now open for fat biking on most winter days. However, a pass is required when we are open for skiing. You’ll be able to pick up the pass in the rear of the building near the trailhead. We can also recommend a couple of good routes to try out.
Things to know before your head out: Your tire size must be larger than 3.5″ and the tire pressure must be less than 10 psi. We also ask that you exit the trails if your tires start to create ruts that are more than one inch in depth.
Please be aware that skiers and snowshoers have the right of way. If you are biking when our trails are groomed and need to walk, please do so on the side of the trail to preserve the grooming for skiers. Most importantly, always check the trail report on our website below before heading out. Conditions change frequently and there are times when conditions are not suitable for fat biking.
