Norman Rockwell Museum, School Vacation Week
April 14 - April 19
Norman Rockwell Museum will host a series of creative events for school vacation week. The week begins Sunday, April 14 with a closing celebration of student artwork and continues Monday, April 15 with a 3-day comic book camp just for students. A drop-in art workshop for all ages runs daily Monday through Friday.

Reimagining the Four Freedoms: Student Artworks from the Capital Region,
New York Closing Celebration
1 – 3 p.m.
Join the student artists in a closing celebration for this exhibition of original works portraying the meaning of freedom today—artwork created by high school students from New York’s Capital Region. Comic Book Camp
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
For Grades 5 – 8
Learn about the history of comic books and make your own comics with artist/educator Patrick O’Donnell. Create storyboards, characters, and learn about expression and proportion. Look at cartoons done by Rube Goldberg, whose art is on view, plus other comic book art from the Norman Rockwell Museum Collection.
