Norman Rockwell Museum, Mother’s Day
May 10 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT
Wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend Experience
Guided Tour of the historic Studio where Rockwell painted, corresponded, posed models, and even napped for more than 20 years, creating iconic works on view in the Museum. Archival materials, photographs, and records offer visitors a step back in time to when Rockwell was actively painting.
Rockwell called his Stockbridge studio, his “best studio yet.” The building was originally located in the backyard of his home on South Street in Stockbridge, Mass. In 1976, toward the end of his life, Rockwell left the studio and its contents to Norman Rockwell Museum. The building was cut in two and moved to the Museum’s grounds in 1986.
There are limited daily tickets for tours of Norman Rockwell’s Studio. It is recommended you purchase your museum admission and studio tour tickets online in advance of your visit. Museum Visit admission is required for all tours.
