Summers rock with MGM LIVE! outdoor concert series on The Plaza at MGM Springfield. Let down your hair (or tease it out), and come dance the night away with us, your friends and your favorite band.
July 18 – 7pm – Michelle Brooks Thompson
A Downtown Springfield favorite, Michelle Brooks Thompson is a 2017 Amateur Night at the Apollo Winner. Michelle developed into a unique & powerful vocalist, who’s abilities are ranked amongst many of the major Gospel & secular artists of her time.
July 19 – 8pm – Joon
Ripping out of Connecticut, Joon has made a name for themselves, creating a unique sound that blends a mix of rock and funk with soulful songwriting. Joon has built a reputation of being a vocal powerhouse, delivering high energy in every performance with a sound similar to that of Hall & Oates, Dave Matthews Band, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
July 25 – 7pm – Jason Ingriselli
Jason Ingriselli and his band has showcased their authentic sound with a wide variety of local & national recording artists from stages to bar room floors.
July 25 – 8pm – Consider the Source
Consider the Source blends progressive rock and improvisatory jazz, soaked in Indian and Middle Eastern styles, CTS blends disparate elements into an utterly original whole.
August 1 – 7pm – Savage Brothers
The Savage Brothers, a Hartford-based band established in 1984, is a six piece funkin’, rockin’, and rhythm group featuring a two-piece horn section.
August 9 – 8pm – Nine Days
Nine Days is a rock band from Long Island whose single, “Absolutely(Story of a Girl)” will take you back to 2000.
August 15 – 7pm – Duppy Conquerors
New England’s premier Bob Marley tribute band.
August 22 – 7pm – Maddie Poppe with Jenny Tolman
Maddie Poppe is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and the season 16 winner of American Idol. She is a multi-instrumentalist playing the guitar, piano, and ukulele. Nashville native, Jenny Tolman, is classy and courageous behind a guitar, sassy and self deprecating in spirit, and masterful in her ability to make sense of life’s ironies by putting them under a poet microscope.
September 5 – 7pm – The Glenn Campbell and Friends Goodtime Show
After five decades, more than 70 albums and hit network television shows, the Rhinestone Cowboy has touched the hearts of multiple generations. His life and impact on pop culture continues to live on through this one-of-a-kind show.
September 14 – 8pm – Sugarhill Gang
An American hip hop group: Their 1979 hit “Rapper’s Delight” was the first rap single to become a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
