Holyoke Heritage State Park, Talk

Visit the Skinner and Sons Silk Mill site (1874—1980) for a fascinating tale of old industrial Holyoke. Grasp the laborious process of silk manufacturing and feel what it was like to work in the mill. See real silkworm cocoons, raw silk skeins, and wedding dresses made from the final product. Easy, short leisurely stroll in and near the park. Tours are free and open to the public. Meet at Holyoke Heritage State Park Visitor Center. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
