The popular Summer Evening Stroll program returns this June with a new stroll that features the topic of Slavery and Freedom. The guided walking tours begin at 5:00 p.m. and depart every 30 minutes from the Visitor Center at Hall Tavern. Tickets must be purchased in advance. $10 per person.

Slavery, Labor, and Freedom in Deerfield

This special walking tour explores the history of labor in Deerfield, both enslaved and free. Who built the beautiful town we know today? How do we remember and honor these complicated histories in the present?

Summer Evening Strolls: Slavery, Labor, and Freedom in Deerfield

The guided walking tours begin at 5:00 p.m. and depart every 15 minutes from the Visitor Center at Hall Tavern. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets for the tours are $10 per person.

Dinner from the full summer menu at Champney’s Restaurant and Tavern at the Deerfield Inn will be discounted 20% on entrees with purchase of the Sunday Summer Stroll ticket. Dinner is not required for participating in the tour. Reservations are recommended for one-hour after the start time of your tour and may be made by calling (413) 774-5587.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are looking to purchase tickets on the day of the event, please purchase tickets in person at the Flynt Center before 4:30 p.m.
