Historic Deerfield, Cozy Winter Wednesdays
January 15 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm EST
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Wednesday, repeating until January 29, 2020
We invite families with children to join us in the History Workshop this winter. Each week our museum educator will offer a story reading with an accompanying hands-on craft. Children of all ages can enjoy our Colonial play area, our book nook, and can work on burlap weaving. This is a drop-in program; children must be accompanied by an adult. Children under five are free; children ages 6-17 are $5, and adult admission is $7.
December 2, 2019 – April 17, 2020: The Flynt Center of Early New England Life will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Visitors can enjoy current exhibitions and “The Museum’s Attic” gallery. The Henry N. Flynt Library will be open Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. The museum will reopen for the 2020 Season on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
