Eastern States Exposition, Fiber Festival

An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until November 7, 2021
Are “ewe” ready? Come see the annual Fiber Festival. There will be sheep shearing, workshops, fleece sale, fiber animals, demonstrations, and a fiber fashion show. Visit booths selling raw fleeces, patterns, beads, yarn, blankets, spinning wheels, shawl pins, brooches, and much more! Shop for unique holiday gifts and decorations.
Fiber Festival At-A-Glance
- More than 150 New England exhibitors will showcase products including clothing, quilts, blankets, rugs, looms, spinning wheels, and more.
- Workshops on felting, spinning, punch needle, Tunisian crochet, rug hooking, and more will be held on both days.
- Learn how animals contribute to the fiber industry through live displays of llamas, alpacas, sheep, and rabbits. Sheep Shearing demos will take place throughout the weekend.
- Be the first in line to purchase items at the Fleece Sale, ongoing throughout the Festival and open to all.

The annual event, co-produced by the Eastern States Exposition and the New England Sheep and Wool Growers Association, aims to promote the use of wool and other natural fibers and related products to the general public. In addition to purchasing fleece, all types of fiber, supplies, and equipment, as well as kits to get started on a project, there are plenty of “finished” items to buy.
