Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a festive twist, Shamrocks and Streetcars! Bring the whole family for a day filled with Irish-inspired fun, history, and hands-on activities that celebrate the contributions of Irish Americans to the trolley system and beyond. Guests can also purchase a Trolley Shamrock dedicated to someone special, with proceeds supporting vital track maintenance. These Shamrocks will be proudly displayed in the Visitor Center until April 1st.

- Find the Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt
Search high and low for mischievous leprechauns hidden throughout the Museum. Complete the scavenger hunt for a chance to win exciting prizes! - Trolley Ride with a Twist

Take a trolley ride operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Inside the Visitor Center you will find more static trolley cars and artifacts, a theater showing a kids Easter movie and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price.
