Father’s Day Behind the Scenes Tour & Guest Motorman Day-“Behind-the-Scenes” tour will give visitors the opportunity to take a close-up look at some of the current restoration projects including Connecticut Company Car #3001 (almost 121 years old!), Brooklyn Rapid Transit #169 (128 years old!) & Northern Ohio Traction & Light Co. #1500 (113 years old!). Additionally, tour the grounds that are normally closed off to visitors with a Museum guide. Additionally, take a trolley ride operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Inside the Visitor Center you will find more static trolley cars and artifacts, a theater showing a trolley themed movie and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price. Admission prices are $13 for Adults, $11 for Children ages 2-11 & half off for Museum Members. Dads and Granddads receive FREE admission when accompanied by a paying adult or child.
