When the kids are out of school, don’t panic – plan a family adventure to the Connecticut Science Center. Put those new Memberships to good use! Explore four floors of fun with more than 165 exhibits, including our brand-new traveling exhibition, Forest of Illusions. Plus, no visit is complete without a trip through our tropical Butterfly Encounter (small additional fee), and be part of the show with our daily LIVE Science demos. We have snow much fun waiting for you on your school break, come on out and join us.

SCIENCE WORKSHOP: DRAWING WITH DNA

Every living thing contains a secret message inside it—its DNA! Come extract the DNA of different fruits and use it to create your very own marker. Write a colorful message using the code of a cherry or with the secrets inside of a strawberry. Take your marker home to continue your DNA drawings.

• Two sessions per day are available:  11AM or 12:30PM
• 45-minute Workshop
• Ages 7-12
• A General Admission ticket or Membership is required to participate (sold separately)
• Only registered children will be allowed in the Workshop
