WHERE YOUNG MINDS MAKE BIG DISCOVERIES
On select Tuesdays (or, in this case a Monday), the Science Center transforms into a magical playland where little ones ages 6 and under can explore a world of discovery with crowd-controlled spaces, hands-on activities, and special programming designed just for them. It’s a relaxed, fun-filled adventure perfect for learning and play at their own pace.
MAY THEME: SPRING FLING
Yes, we know it’s a Monday—but you’ll love it just as much as a Tuesday. Spring Fling brings a day of exciting seasonal activities designed for your little one. Toddlers will embark on a thrilling Scavenger Quest in the plaza, hunt for seeds in Need for Seed, and get crafty with Make and Take Flowers. The adventure continues in the Sensory Bin, where they’ll explore textures and scents, and wraps up with Plant a Play Garden, sparking imaginative gardening fun. This delightful experience nurtures creativity, exploration, and a love for nature.
- Scavenger Quest: Little explorers embark on a lively scavenger hunt, searching for nature’s hidden treasures and growing wonders, sparking curiosity at every turn!
- Need for Seed: With magnifying glasses in hand, toddlers zoom in on tiny seeds, uncovering their fascinating details and discovering the magic of plant growth.
- Make and Take Flowers: A blooming good time awaits as toddlers craft vibrant flowers using coffee filters and tie-dye, creating unique floral masterpieces to take home.
- Sensory Bin: A hands-on nature experience where toddlers explore squishy grass, fragrant petals, and other sensory delights, fostering a love for the great outdoors.
- Plant a Play Garden: Little green thumbs dig into playful gardening, planting pretend flowers and crops in play dirt, nurturing creativity and imagination along the way
- Explore: Over 165 hands-on exhibits including our new exhibit The Science Behind PIXAR
- Gift Shop: Snacks and drinks available for purchase.
