  • Out-of-this-World Adventures: Explore our brand-new Exploring Space exhibit gallery, where you’ll embark on an intergalactic journey of discovery.
  • Last Chance to Play: Take a last trip through the Forest of Illusions and enjoy one final skate on our beloved sock skating rink before they close to make way for an exciting new experience opening in March.
  • Special Space Event – Space Foundation Community Day (Saturday Only): Meet two real-life astronauts and dive into hands-on space activities that will ignite curiosity and excitement for all ages.

Meet legendary astronauts Dr. Kathryn “Kathy” Thornton, a NASA trailblazer who helped save the Hubble Space Telescope, and Scott “Kidd” Poteet, the SpaceX pilot shaping the future of commercial spaceflight. Immerse your family in the wonders of space with hands-on STEM activities like rocket building, robotics, and gravity experiments, plus a deep dive into the Europa Clipper mission. Explore interactive exhibits, witness cutting-edge space science, and spark curiosity for all ages. It’s an out-of-this-world experience you won’t want to miss.

  • MEET LEGENDARY ASTRONAUT: Dr. Kathryn “Kathy” Thornton, a NASA trailblazer with four spaceflights and over 975 hours in space, including 21 hours on spacewalks | Presentation 1:30-2PM | Meet & Greet 2-3PM
  • MEET LEGENDARY ASTRONAUT: Scott “Kidd” Poteet, A retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and the SpaceX spacecraft pilot for the Polaris Dawn mission, a landmark commercial spaceflight in 2024 | Presentation 10:30-11AM | Meet & Greet 11AM-12PM
